OVER THE WINTER IN WYOMING WE PLACE A BLANKET AND HAY AROUND HIVE...LEAVE THE DOORS OPEN A CRACK FOR AIR....BUT KEEP THEM WARM IF IT IS -10 OR MORE..AND IN THE LAST 10YEARS HAVE NOT LOST A HIVE TO THE COLD....AND I HAVE 2500 OF THEM.....TO THE BEEKEEPERS OUT THERE...KEEP YOUR POWER DRY AND YOU HONEY WARM.....
