summering begonias...

Here is a pic of my begonias summering on the front porch. They seem to be enjoying the recent humidity here in Ohio. Since they were all together I thought I'd show them off.

Enjoy! Kim

kim! the begonias look wonderful. i've been waiting for "summer" here, but it seems more like spring. my begonias always seem to perk up when i take them outside. have you noticed that in yours?

Hello!

Mine do seem to perk up during the summer, I think it is the increased humidity since they suffer all winter with the dry heat in the house. I am worried about how to move them come August though.

Kim,

Nice bunch of begonias. This looks like a good thread for others to post some of their begonias this summer.

Here are a couple of mine:

Here is 'Benitochiba', 'Joe Hayden', and 'Bashful Bandit'

Here is a broad view of some of my ones in front of the house. 'Plum Gorgeous' is the first one on the left and 'Caribbean Queen' is the behind it.

Great idea and maybe I can get an I.D. for my Begonias.
good thread to post some of my begonias this summer. I have mine growing under my deck and they seem to be happy. My Aunt
got me started with the Rex Begonias and I really love them...

Hi flowergirl...I actually don't live there anymore, I moved to TX in August of '05. However, it was a shaded front porch, facing north. Unfortunately I lost most of those during the move. Begonias don't seem to like the heat here, or the lack of humidity in my house.

:) Kim
