question about growing cutting

This is my first attempt to grow a begonia. It is an 'angel wing' begonia. I got 3 or 4 cuttings 9 days ago via the mail. I immediately put them in this pot and set them by a sliding glass door facing south. Outside the door was a covered porch, so it didn't get any direct sunlight.
Thinking it might need more light, I moved the cuttings out to my greenhouse Friday (where this picture was taken, tonight). The greenhouse gets down to the low 40s at night, and up to 60-70 degrees during the day.
In the greenhouse, they seem to get too much sun and curl a bit. The pot is now back in the house.
Some of the cuttings are looking pretty dead, but one is still standing.
Any suggestions?
Here is a top view taken a few minutes later. The cuttings are back in the house.

| You may want to pull the cuttings out and check for rot. If rotted, cut the rot out. Stick the cuttings in a small cup of water and cover with a plastic bag. Wait until roots are 1/2 inch long to plant up. Place in a bright light location and keep it warm (roots won't grow if too cool). Once it is full of vigor, then you can put it in a cooler place (next winter). |

| Here is what the cuttings look like, now. It looks like 2 of the four cuttings may survive. Any suggestions?

| What you show in your latest pictures may be okay in the present pot, but to increase your chances of success I would pot them in a much smaller container (maybe a styrofoam or plastic drinking cup for example), add drainage holes, and cover with a plastic bag. Do not keep soaking wet! |

| Things seemed to have stabilized, but the dogs got excited over something and broke the pot. The seemingly healthy cutting broke in two. Upon inspection the stems, both had grown 3/4" roots. I've take the advice on using a plastic bag. I now have two plastic cups, with fine drainage holes. Each cup is inside a large zip lock plastic bag. >Do not keep soaking wet! I generally keep things pretty dry, but with closed plastic bag trip it is like a continual rain. |

| Just an update. The cutting survived. Here is a recent photo. Thanks for all the help!
