Anyone ever heard of a Mary Begonia

My mother-in-law had one or several of these at any given time, and had good success raising them, but her daughter nor me did well with them. Now, I have had none in the last several years, and have been unable to find them. Does anyone know what these are? If so, can you tell me where I might find a start?

RE: Anyone ever heard of a Mary Begonia

There seems to be a slew of begonias with the name of Mary in it. There is one begonia that has just the name "Mary" and was a cane hybridized back in 1950 by Robinson in CA. You may have a hard time finding it since a lot of hybrids fall out of favor and disappear for one reason or another. You may just have to browse online vendors to see if you can find one similar in looks and buy it instead.
