Begonia Rex?

Posted by mariateresa (My Page) on

I have bought this begonia, which was labelled 'Rex Begonia', but I have never seen rex begonias with leaves shaped like these. Have you ever seen one similar to this one? Could it really be a rex cultorum type of begonia?
Thank you in advance for your help.

RE: Begonia Rex?

I believe that is B. hatacoa 'Silver' and has been crossed with rex varieties. Yours is very nicely grown!
