Looking around at my rhizos and rexes last night, I discovered that six or seven more are setting buds.

For years I tried to grow begonias but they *always* died or got to looking so pitiful I just pitched them.

I decided early last year to try them once again. Thanks to all of you on this forum, varieties I would never, ever have tried years ago do not scare me any more. My 'Benitochibas' (both of them), are lovely; 'Bipinnatifidas' (again, both of them) are lush and full and growing on pebble trays and even need to be repotted! All of this with a woodstove going.

If you had told me a year ago I would have begonias not only thriving but blooming, I would have given you what DH calls "The Look." So, I wanted to take this opportunity to say "Thank You." Without your willingness to share your knowledge, I wouldn't have this lovely, new addiction.

Best wishes to all,
Linda
