 o
when to repot

I dug up my tuberous begonias last fall and now they are in my basement in shredded paper in a brown paper bag. I'd like to repot them so I'll have a nice bushy plant come May. When should I pot them up? (I'm in zone 5)

I pot mine when the little pink sprouts begin to show. (And I just brought mine into the house from the garage so they'd be a bit warmer and hopefully sprout sooner).

This may be a little late, but wait for sprouts. If you pot before the tuber sprouts, it may rot... this sight has helped me: http://www.bradsbegoniaworld.com/
