Hi - has anyone seen QVC's today's special value today (Friday)? They are offering 13 Giant Begonias (3 trailing and 10 upright) for around $30. What do you think, good deal? I am new to begonias..... See qvc.com

Hi Sandy,
Wow! QVC sells plants?! I had no idea... $3 each for begonias that size sounds like a great deal. I say, go for it!!

Hi, Guys:
This is for tubers/bulbs; not plants.

I had to go check out the offer. Here's a link to the QVC Begonias. I think that's a good price. I would buy them but I have been picking up begonias at various places around town. But then again ... it's only a one day sale. LOL!

Here is a link that might be useful: QVC Begonias

You're right Linda, it is just for tubers. In that case, it is a bit pricey. I'd still get them if I was addicted. :)

Hi, CG:

I have learned to read carefully on eBay. Sometimes the seller waits until the fine print to say "tuber" or "You are bidding on a plant in a 2.5" pot" when the picture is of a mature plant.

I also watch those who say "You are bidding on the plant pictured or one similar." Hmmmmm, how similar? :-)

It's a beautiful Friday. Methinks it may be time to gear up for some rhizo repotting!!!

Regards,
Linda

It is relatively large flower, 5 inches. According to TV host, each plant will have 300 flowers per year, if it is true, $3 per tube seem a good deal, isn't it?
