It depends on what you want to do. Nothing wrong with letting it sit in perlite if you want to or moving it into a pot with a good mix of soilless mix and perlite or something that will aid in fast drainage. Keep the pot small until it fills the pot for best results.

Are you feeding the new plant? If not, then I'd give it some slow release to encourage it to put some size on and get a good root system.

Thanks hcmcdole! You were the one that helped me with starting the leaves and they look like they are happy plants now. I think I'll leave them in the perlite for a while longer then. And I'll start fertilizing too! Here's a pic of progress :)

I had a few cuttings off a beefsteak begonia, and placed them in a pot with soil the other day as they had good roots on them. I was wondering if I should cut off the leaves on the tops of the stems or just let them do their own thing, and how airy should the soil be do I need like an orchid mix for this plant????
