Could need watering or you have low humidity. The dry spots could have started from some fungal disease (powdery mildew is the worst culprit) but since they are dry and aren't spreading then you should be okay. Old leaves can be cut off anytime as well as ugly, damaged leaves. The curling leaves is probably from being too dry or it is the nature of this particular begonia.

A lot of my cane leaves are turning black at the tip ends. I cut off the worst of them and when I move them outdoors in a few weeks I will cut the rest of them off. Looks kind of stark for a couple of weeks but they fill out pretty quick.

Thank you for the suggestion regarding water/low humidity. (I have increased the humidity around the begonias - it was likely low.) Now that the problem has been developing for a while, it looks like it may be caused by a pest, virus, etc. I will attach a photo of the newest leave - it is pocked with dark red and brown marks.
