begonia from seed

| I have never grown a begonia before, but I was recently tempted by something I saw at a seed outfitter online that was called "Pin Up Flame Begonia". I was wondering how long it will take these to flower, and also if they will come true from seed. I always thought that a begonia was just an annual that you grow from seed every spring. Will these come back again next year? Sorry about all the questions, but I'm pretty new to growing flowers--this is my first year starting seedlings for flowers. I grew pumpkins last year, but it didn't turn out well and I'd like to avoid the dissapointment this year!!! |

| Tuberous begonias (including pin-up) are hybrids which comes true from seed, if you purchase the seeds. Your own harvested seeds may not come true from seed, but sometimes provides for some very interesting combinations. It takes 22-26 weeks from sowing until flowering. Germinating can be tricky. |
