Escargot has weird browning spots on upper leaves

I'm new to working with plants, and my escargot is showing some brownish circles on the outer leaves. The plant seems pretty much healthy otherwise. I'm not sure if I am giving it too much sun, since I believe it is supposed to get low sun or bright shade, or something like that. I just love this plant and I want it to live and look nice. any advice?

bright, filtered light is correct. low humidity can also be the problem. my 'Escargot' and other rexes get brown spots sometimes. other than looking bad, the plants are usually okay, though. also, i recommend bottom-watering.

thank you, that seems about right. do you think that misting the plant would help? I live in an apartment, which does not lend itself to a proper humid climate.
