Begonia ID

Hi everybody,
A neighbor gave me two leaf cuttings of this beautiful begonia about a year ago. From those individual leaves, the plants have now grown to be about 12 inches across and about 10 inches tall (not including the flowers). The flowers stand another 8 or 9 inches above the rest of the plant.

The leaves are shaped like a lopsided heart. They're green with a bit of burgundy coloring on top, and the undersides are more reddish.

Does anybody know what type it is?

Thanks,
John

RE: Begonia ID

my guess is Begonia mazae (maybe forma nigricans). does your plant grow its leaves on thin, rambling upright stalks?
