Begonia stems broke off

I started some tubers indoors a few weeks ago. the plants sprouted and got two stems but on a few of the plants the stems broke off. do i need to toss the tuber or can it be saved? should I store it or keep in in a pot. will more stems sprout. i may have over watered the plants but the tubers when I pulled them had a good root system and were still firm. not sure what to do.

I don't grow tuberous as a general rule but the tuber should sprout anew. The broken stems can be rooted as well but are typically harder to propagate than other begonias.
