Photo of my poor wax begonia

Can anything be done for it? I live in zone 11 and it is very hot down here. The begonia was planted mistakenly in almost full sun.

Also is it possible to cut stems and root them from this plant? If I could do that, I would put the new ones in a different spot. I did try rooting it but didnt pay much attention. Snipped off one of the taller stems below the node and stuck it in soil. Died almost immediately.
