Tuberous Begonia's in ground?

I am new to growing Begonia's, last year I had two tubers that I grew in a pot in the shade, and fell in love! So this year I bought some more! I purchased Begonia Grandiflora tubers, now for my question. The place I would like to put them is in a dry shady garden, would I be better to leave them in the 4" pots I have them in now, or should I plant them right in the ground? I know I can dig them out in the fall, and over winter them. OR should I put the pots and all in the ground?

Easier to leave in pots, just don't forget to water them as necessary. I've done both ways, prefer pots because in cases of windy conditions I can move them to a quieter spot.
