Cutting Back Escargot

I recently went on a trip and, well, my escargot sufferred without its watering. Now, I have a healthy plant, already with new growth, but some of the foliage is half dead, and it is looking kind of ugly, so I wanted to see the best way to cut it back, or prune it, or whatever I am supposed to do. Please help if you can because I love this plant and it deserves to look good!

Thank you

just pluck the dead leaves and stems off! they should come off from the rhizome very easily.
