something eating my begonias

AMYQofU

I am a begonia neophyte, just beginning about a year ago. At the last meeting of the local society I purchased a "Penny Lahn" and a "Helene Jaros" from the sale table.

They both seem to be getting "eaten". There are holes appearing in the leaves, and thin spots around the veins. When I sprayed with insecticidal soap a little green worm appeared. Is this a nematode? How should I treat them?

I don't have a picture right now - I was hoping this is a common something that old hands could recognize by description.

Thanks in advance for any help.
