Help! Plant is turning brown and I don't know how to stop it!

I picked up a gorgeous begonia at the supermarket. After one week I had significant browning and curling of the leaves and flowers. The leaves and flowers may have gotten a little wet on my first watering as I misted a fern that was next to it. I though it was no problem maybe stress or maybe the growth was old. I cut all the damaged growth off just in case leaving my poor little plant looking rather stark. The plant was doing well for about a week and a half putting out new growth as well. Then the browning started again on the leaves. All seem to be affected this time. Also IÂve noticed that the browning is starting in the center of new flowers as well. That it is starting in new flowers concerns me, could it be sick? IÂve been watering it about once a week letting it dry between. It was in a shady spot when I fist got it but now gets partial sun and has been in the same spot for about one and a half weeks now. Any tips you could give would be much appreciated.
