Thank you hcmcdole and greenelbows (sp) I did not repot my begonia, I was patient and when I came home today I have 2 big blooms!!!! They are pink and I am not sure exactly what they are except that they are angel wing. As soon as it blooms all out I will take a picture and figure it out....Thanks Again

I'll be watching for the pictures. But big blooms sounds more like a tuberous--? Cane (angel wing) begonias usually have heads of small or middle-sized blooms, sometimes many flowers in large umbels, sometimes not so many usually larger blooms also in umbels. Have you looked at pictures on the American Begonia Society site? I waste hours drooling---

I have an angelwing...Lucernia.My one pot is over 7 ft and it's in a 24 inch pot this year& the other is in a smaller pot a 14 inch. They really do fill the pot in with roots in no time.I have 4-5 ft stakes in pot& it is also tied to post on porch.(I had wind snap my 7 ft plant to 3 ft and make lots of cuttings for shareing...it was called Ivan passing through South TX.)I leave off the fertilizer about thanksgiveing& when they do bloom in the winter months....the blooms are a pale pink& are a dark pink almost red in the summer.I just wish I had other cane begonias.I really love them.I got my start from my moms plant& hers is real pot bound...has canes filling the whole pot...she'd transplant...if it'd leave the pot.least she DOES toss soil on top.

I have some of my begonia photos in my yahoo albulm.were from 2 yrs ago when 1st got mine.may be a recent one from last year.
