wintered annual wax begonia question

Ok, I'll make it short. I found this forum when looking to get rid of cat pee smell, I was so elated w/ the results that I posted twice in that forum and the garden web gods deleted my posts, however since then, I have been a daily garden web lurker.

I have this wax begonia that my husband won at a Polish festival (don't ask). I know that it's an annual but he loves it (I need him to move rock, so best keep him happy). It sat in a pot in our window all winter. I transplanted it into a pot with one of my hibiscus trees. It is now 20" tall, with leaves only at the top and 1 red petal (red due to bone meal used to be pink) . He loves this "Polish plant".

Can I expect it to come back? Do I just let it go to see how high it actually gets, or can I cut it to try to root it? So long winded I will get deleted I bet...but Thanks (this is a ridiculous post, I know).
