I have a dragon wing begonia and It won't grow

I recently bought a 'dragon wing begonia' and it didn't come with any instructions. Is there a specific type of soil they prefer? Also, it has been raining quite heavily here, I was concerned about the soil being too wet. The plant is quite young, just a couple of leaves (no blossoms yet), though it still looks healthy it just isn't maturing when my other plants are flourishing, I don't know what to do.

To coin a phrase--Patience, Grasshopper! It's probably just waiting for warmer weather. On the other hand--I just switched brands of potting mix since some of my plants weren't doing as well as I thought they should be, and they are really exploding. Of course, the weather is already what normal people in a reasonable climate would call HOT! We're just grateful it's only in the middle/upper eighties!
