Wilted Escargot - will it come back?

So I have (had?) a gorgeous escargot in my kitchen window that was really thriving. We had housepainters in and the plant was put outside on a hot and sunny day. I returned home to find it totally wilted. I watered it well and went to bed. No joy.

That was 12 hours ago and it's still mostly drooping.

Any tricks to reviving it? Should I just cut off the wilted leaves and let it grow back?

Try a baggie over it to increase humidity. Don't do this trick in full sun though.
