Tree Basket for Begonias

I made this tree basket with Begonias in mind

An easy project, can be done without welder if you drill and use small nuts & bolts

All you need is an old tree stump, some strip metal, not too thick -- so it will bend easy, plus a few leaves etc from a local friendly wrought iron railing/gate fabricator

Bend the horizontal strip round the tree to shape it

I used an old barrel to bend the vertical metal

That black fabric is the stuff they use to keep weed down, but anything will do

Put in some good rich potting soil and as many plants as possible
I planted Begonias, the Nonstop variety, with the odd Coleus

That's beautiful, and a very good idea. Wonder if I can get my son to do one for me!
