Here is a pic of my begonia landscape area, under some palm trees. Yes, I am in Tampa Bay but it does freeze and frost here occasionally. Begonias are tough. In my shadehouses they grow all winter, outdoors, only covered by frost cloth when it is at freezing or below. This garden is protected by the palm canopy. Unfortunately, an Armadillo still has access :-((........This was March of this year.
