broken tuberous begonia stock

| I believe my cat broke off the main stock on my begonia. Broke it off right at the soil line. This stock was about a foot long and 3/4 of an inch in diameter. Leaves were bigger then my hand. What can I do now? Can I root this stock or parts of it? |
