| I bought this beautiful begonia at a local nursery, and the person there had no idea what it was, and it had no tag. Actually it looks like someone propagated several of them to sell, and for ten dollars, I thought it was a good deal on the size and health. Well now the bigger leaves are starting to turn yellow and brown. I was hoping someone here can ideantify it for me and give me advise on how to care for it. Here are pics:
Any help would be wonderful, thank you!!

| Looks to me like it might be a little dry. If you have watered it thoroughly it may not have needed it as the plant appears to be rhizomatous and you hve to watch the water with them. I am sure it has a name, but I don't know it. Can you put it in a humid place, without strong light? It was healthy or it wouldn't be blooming as well as pictured. You might put a bit of plastic on top to add some humidity temporarily. |
