Oh Help...A Duck!

| A mommy duck, SAT on my new apricot non-stop...completely smushed it! Yesterday I was admiring how I could seee the beautiful blooms from my kitchen window and today I found a broken plant and duck feathers! I know these plants are pretty hardy so I moved it, replanted in another spot, beeefed it up with compost dressing and crossed my fingers. It has one large stalk that has just bowed from the pressure, so I can't tell if it will survive. There did seem to be some new buds, tho. Any thoughts at all?
