Begonia grisea, help me save it.

As best I can figure out I have a Begonia grisea as a house plant. I daughter flipped the pot over and the plant is in rough shape. Is it possible to reroot the plant with rooting hormone? Any tips? Any suggestions?
How could I go about saving a portion of the plant as only a small part of the plant is attched to the original roots?
Thanks so much for your help..
If its not this exact species it is a somewhat similar to it as far a leaf/plant structure. Thanks.

RE: Begonia grisea, help me save it.

What are the roots like? Are they healthy roots or are they stringy? Is the plant rotted at the stem or just broken off. What I'm trying to say is does the plant have root rot or stem rot. If It does I don't think the cutting would be healthy enough to root and that piece that still has it's roots may be infected too.

There is no cure for root or stem rot. It is usually caused by being too wet too long.

If It's just broken off though by all means take cuttings and plant up the piece that still has roots. When taking cuttings cut below a leaf, because the roots will come from a leaf joint.
