Tuberouse begonias in the tropics

I am used to growing begonias in the pacific northwest, lifting and storing the tubers over the winter. I now live in Guatemala where it is 65 - 70 degrees year round. I have bought a few t. begonias here and they doing great.

My question: do the tubers need to be rested in this climate? will they start fizzling out when they get tired and want a rest? How do I rest them here, and for how long?

Thanks
