Tuberous Begonia

I have this begonia:

which is doing well. When the flowers are finished there is a seed pod left on the stalk. Has anyone ever tried to grow these? Can I grow them? Will they grow?

I thought Tuberous Begonias bloomed in total shade but mine are growing tall and stringy with no blooms. I just moved them into about 50% sun. Should that work?

RE: Tuberous Begonia

I would like to know the same thimg also. I've wanted to grow both tuberous and rex begonias from my own seeds, but I don't seem to be able to get viable seeds. Is there some trick to getting begonias to set viable seeds?
