seed collecting for wax begonia

I've saved a few pods?? of the wax begonia, They were dry, when I open them, there was a reddish powder inside, Are those the seeds?

Yes, those are the seeds - dust like particles. Surface sow and keep covered if you are inclined to try growing them from seed.

Appreciate you respond. I'm mostly experimenting right now, trying out new things. I'll need patience then en? Actually I wasn't to sure they were seeds, Because there were a few black flat things in it too. And I thought those might have been the seeds. Thanks again
