Am I crazy?

I planted some gorgeous pastel tuberous begonias last year or the year before. Picked them out when they were blooming, so I know they were pinks and peaches, a lot of picotees. They're in boxes and it doesn't really freeze much here, so I just left them over winter. They've been blooming, and a couple are the ones I remember. But one is solid deep crimson, and one is solid yellow. I might have gotten crimson, since I was with my Mom and she loves red. But I know I didn't get yellow! Can they change colors, or un-picotee and become a solid color (thinking maybe I got a yellow-apricot)?
