aggravating banner resizing

| Anyone else have problems with this site changing banner size? Just when I am ready to click on a topic, it moves due to the changing size of the top banner. So when I see the topic again, it disappears again because the banner has changed again. It's enough to boycott using this website. |

| I agree it's annoying. The purpose, I suppose, is to get people to pay more attention to the ads. However, I find as time goes by that I can just re-click and still ignore the ad. I'm not ready to give up garden web for it. |

| If you become a supporting member (it's $15 a year) you don't see any annoying banner ads. Well worth it for me. |

| I didn't know you could get rid of the banners by paying. Very interesting. It's bad enough when they have the ads crawling across the screen or the topic is slow updating because of all the graphics but the resizing is really annoying. I may just have to check back once in a great while or not at all instead of daily. |
