I am trying to grow rex's outside in zone 9. Has anyone done that yet? Or in any zone? How about some tips? Thanks!

RE: Rex Beg. outside in socal?

I'm in Crescent City, Ca (north) and I grow mine outside in pots year around. I lost my escargot begonia though. I would at least put them near the house over winter. When they come back the next year they don't quite look as good. This year I am going to bring them in for the winter but I'm sure you live in a warmer climate than me. Sometimes it gets 20 degrees over here. But usually it stays around 50-60 degrees. I wish you well with your begonias!
