annual or perinnal begonia's

I bought and planted some Begonia's this year and the colors were pink,yellow,orange and dk.purple.I think there were other colors but I picked those. When I went to pull them up there were white bulbs at the end of them. Do you know if these are annual or perrinals?

Sounds like tuberous begonias and they are perennial (most if not all begonias are perennial but some are easier to treat as annuals). There should be information on this forum about how to keep the tubers over winter and start them again. Do a web search on tuberous begonias for more information.
