Question about rex begonia

I have a rex begonia that was outside in the shade all summer, and stayed pretty happy. I brought it in when it got cold. It's the first begonia I've ever had, and I love the beautiful foliage. However, I know nothing about the basic care that rex begonias prefer. It has lost a few leaves (they dried up). It now has a leaf that's yellowing and on it's way out. I suspect it's a watering problem. When it was outside I only watered it once in awhile, and I've continued that since bringing it in.

Also - what are their fertilizer and lighting preferences?

RE: Question about rex begonia

Let it dry out between watering. Rexes usually lose all their leaves in winter so don't over react and drown it. If it is under lights, it should start putting out new leaves once it settles in. I would not fertilize until spring then treat like other begonias - slow release and/or water soluble at half strength through the growing season once a week.
