Dish garden bog

I have a 12" wide x 3" deep flat dish pot that I'd like to have a table top bog garden in it. I want corkscrew rush as the main plant because the container is embellished with corkscrew-like designs. Does anyone know if I can grow both corkscrew and dwarf papyrus in this small garden?

I think that 3" deep will be sufficient for corkscrew rush, but I'm not sure about dwarf papyrus. It may need more room for it's roots, or it may overwhelm the corkscrew rush, since I've found that papyrus grows quite quickly.
