| Sphagnum moss, cranberries, leatherleaf, bog rosemary, round-leaved sundew, wild calla, three-way sedge, to name a few. You could also put sub-tropicals and tropicals like venus flytrap in the bog for the summer . |

| Venus flytrap is native to NC/SC, which lies within the Humid Subtropical Zone of the southeastern US. Although it normally goes dormant in the winter, it would not survive winter outdoors in Michigan. |
