What kind of weeds are you talking about?

Being in Canada the only pitcher plant that will do well
in your spot would be S. purpurea but it will not crowd out
weeds.

Identify your weeds and maybe I or another reader can offer
some good suggestions??

You could do a muskeg thing. Ever been to Summit Muskeg Preserve? Cattails, arrowhead, blue flag, sedges, pitcher plants, black spruce, speckled alder, tamarack.

You might get Carex ssp to cover enough ground to keep weeds down. Bog rosemary, cranberries, bog blueberry or low bush blueberry all make good groundcovers, mat forming shrubs.

well if you want a nice full bog you can try, asparagus, chinese water chestnuts (real cool. get em on ebay and eat em in the fall), watercress, pennywort, water celery. The last three spread out nicely like strawberry plants. Joe Pye works too but he takes a while to get nice and thick.

The asparagus grows a nice thick fernlike things. Decorative rhubarb also grows nice and thick and looks cool.

Are you seeing a pattern here? I grow things to eat in my bog. I also grow peppers but I don't think your growing season would let them fruit.

Both my carex & mint seem to be quite capable of monopolizing a bog if I let them. I still pull "weeds" but they are the water plants I put in just getting out of hand. I also have a thin short reedy grass that will cover everything if I let it. Someone gave it to me so I am not sure what it is.
