A Bog Pond Question

Im not too familiar with bog ponds but friend is getting rid of hers and wants to give me the plants..the catch is she has alot of algae and its all over the plants...are the plants worth saving?..and if so what can I do to get rid fo the algae?...she said the lilys are quite expensive and didnt want to trash them if they can be saves....any help would be appreciated...judy

take the plants - if you have enough plants BARE ROOT IT WILL clean the water of nutrients so there is no algea

just rinse em

give em to me if you dont want them - your wasting an opportunity
