willo mosquito dunk diffuse through mud?

| colleagues:
I've completed building my bog garden in a kiddie pool. If I put a mosquito dunk in the mud therein (it won't have standing water all the time) will the bt diffuse through the mud to whatever tiny puddles will be forming now and then?

| I just crumble up part of a dunk and sprinkle on top. I think it works. |
