please help indentify this plant

I was told that it could be grown as a marginal in a water/bog garden. I am dying to find out what it's called. Please help!

That is obedient plant Physostegia. It comes in shades from pale almost white to deep pink. It grows equally well in wet and dry places and can and will form a very large clump and reach a height of 5-6 feet.
