Mystery Bog Plant

Last fall I visited a refuge for the Mississippi sand hill crane in Jackson County, Mississippi. We didn't see any of the birds - they tell me they prefer private ponds! - but the plants were interesting. It had been dry, hadn't rained in a while, so we were able to go places we probably wouldn't have been able to visit had it not been so dry. This plant grew in areas with pitcher plants. I've looked through all my books and can't ID it. Anybody know what this plant is?

Looks like a species of Lycopodiella. We only have one species around here, L. indundata. The one in your picture appears to be a another species.

Thanks so much for your answer, lycopus - I've been wondering what it was since last fall!
I've been looking up various types of this plant, and it's most likely either L. alopecuroides or L. appressa. They're commonly called clubmoss, so at least I have a name to give them.
