I collected some live sphagnum samples for starting a bog terrarium this summer. I put the surplus moss in sealed clear plastic cups. Today I took some moss out for potting an orchid. I noticed in some of the cups there was this wispy substance that looked like a spider web. I did not use any moss from these cups just in case it is fungus. Does anyone know what it could be? I could take pictures if you want.
