My husband and I put a pond in this summer and included two bog gardens independent of the pond. We finished a little later then intended. So, bottom line -- I planted a number of bog plants (all hardy to my zone or lower) this past weekend. We normally don't have our first killing frost until late October. But, as Murphy's Law would have it, we're supposedly getting our first killing frost tonight! How do I protect my new bog plants since they haven't had time to root yet?! Thanks for your advice!
