 o
Trailing or spreading ground cover type for Calif. low desert

I am converting a concrete in ground spa into a pond. I would like to get some bog plants that can spread out to cover the concrete surrounding area to give it a more natural look.

I am in So Cal low desert, near Palm Springs. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mazus reptans, perhaps? Or one of the creeping thymes, if it is to overlay a thin soil over concrete. (I know it's not boggy, as such, but it might work for you.)
