HI: it was finished around end of July , got to take a picture now but the grasses in the back are now 12 feet high, I installed a Lee Valley socker sprayer which is great. It costs way more than budget but should be amazing next year. It makes the pond look much bigger and hopefully less maintenance and more biological. this site says it all

I plan to build a bog garden using just like one would a pond. But I will fill it with river rock use buckets with lots of holes for the plants. Then I will use a regular pond filter. Will this work?
