Cranberry Plant Sources?

Hi -

I spend most of my time in the fruit & orchard forum, but discovered this forum through a web search. My question may be a bit off topic but I hope someone can help.

Does anyone know of a source for bareroot cranberries, that might have several varieties that I could purchase in small quantities? I can find sources for potted plants, and Indiana Berry has Stevens variety rooted cuttings. What I'd like is to get perhaps 2 or 3 plants each of 4 or 5 varieties and see if any survive and bear in my zone 6 climate. I love cranberries and thought it would be great if I could grow my own.

Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks much.

Larry

RE: Cranberry Plant Sources?

Larry,

I would be happy to share some rooted cuttings of the cranberry plants I have. They've taken over my bog garden and need to be thinned out this spring. The plants I have are all mixed up now, but I've got plants from NH, MI, RI, OH, and commercial plants too. All I ask is that you cover the cost of shipping.

send me a private email if you're interested.

Fred
