Also look for anything by Vance Wood (not sure if he's actually done bks or not - apologies Vance if I've forgotten). Do you not like H.G's book - it's pretty good.

Pines are a very advanced topic, but not so advanced you shouldn't try them. The Pines book should be pretty good, but get some one on one help, too.

Lucy, I would agree that "Superfeeding" is a kick, but only because of the name. What he is advocating is simply proper feeding. Americans starve their trees, that's why their pines are yellow and spindly, and why it takes so long to grow some species.
